By George, I think I’ve got it!!... D is for dumpster!
This is insulting to them as designers, to the media who will fawn over these fey boys and to the business of fashion. There is nothing here that resembles anything close to wearable clothes and much more to what one might find in a dumpster, on the curb or in a Goodwill store.
Who will pay good money to look like some bedraggled street urchin in need of a roof to sleep under or searching for a fix? The absurdity of it baffles me especially when I know that the twins have the grit and the talent to produce clothes that will boost their brand and not disgrace it.
It is a great sadness that this is what centuries and decades of sublime fashion has evolved into since what has this has to do with fashion is an enigma to me unless of course it is the pathetic homage to the Chanel jacket!
