In the hands of a master coutourier this was a revelation some 30 odd years ago. In the hands of talentless hack who has never had an original idea you get a design school project come alive or a Project Runway episode that no one needs to ever see or possibly the stock for a  RICKY'S halloween shop.

It’s an insult to fashion this this so called designer tried to replicate what no one should ever have tried to do no less by a designer who made the clothes look like placards and turned them in a circus. It is degrading to Moschino and an insult to the memory of Yves St Laurent and Franco Moschino.

Jeremy Scott is the ringlmaster of the clown circus who got lucky and fashion has suffered ever since.

Well, now he really has done something truly amazing… he has made The Blondes and Betsy Johnson look like Balenciaga. If it wasn’t so pathetically heinously, blindingly, glaringly and offensive to the eye then one might think this “collection” was a parody of fashion!

It’s just all distracting from the fact that there is nothing here for any sane human being … not even drag queens unless they are working the highway MAY want this stuff but as for the rest of the world WTF is this?

Aside the technicolor Tina Turner  wigs and the fortunes spent on all those hideous  candy wrapper colored boots,  the tortured clothes or whatever they are despite the shock factor are  actually been there  done  that; Tired, overly trendoid, trying too hard to be too fabulous and just being this big ole mess... I can’t even say they are Halloween worthy as I believe those who truly observe the holiday can and do much better than this.

Taking this seriously as a collection is partially what ails the fashion system and what certainly is not an antidote for the ailing brick and mortar retailers…  of course that is surmising that any sighted person in their right mind is actually leaving paper on  junk like this.

The pictures say it all and in fact they say far too much about what is acceptable as fashion. Shame on him!

Having lived through the Franco Moschino era I can say he was an acquired taste... you either liked what he did or your didn’t... you either understood what he did or what didn’t BUT no one every referred to hos oeuvre as trashy and yet that is exactly what Jeremy Scott banks on season after season.

It’s cheap tricks (of every definition), bad kitsch, tacky, no tongue in cheek because he only sees things literally translated and it is my belief he has never had an original idea in his skater boy head other than riffing on what Franco excelled at and he fails to do.

This collection is filled with brand labels, nickel a blow job hooker, dollar bills and cartoon characters all shown as West side highway drag queen. How chic! How original! How day late and a dollar short! Overly accessorized in every way and over exaggerated in every way and yet apparently he thinks this is runway worthy. It looks like the try outs for Drag Race or project runway.

It’s apparent I am no fan of his on any level but then again why would I ….once you have tasted caviar why would you gorge on Cheese whiz

If you want to see/do Satyricon then go to the movies ... Fellini did it better and with far more flair and imagination than this ringmaster with his circus of horrors…  why try to best what was the best and is still is the best of its kind since 1969 when it was an ORIGINAL! If you cannot possibly improve on the best than why bother to make a mockery of yourself.

Imitation might be the sincerest form of flattery but cartoonish interpretation is almost insulting … I can only assume when one is talent deprived and with limited imagination you go for the spectacle mixed with shock and awe...PUHLEEEZE with this shit.

As for the women’s who cares... it goes from one cartoonish creation to the next………………. The wigmakers must have been thrilled but even those are nothing but copies from Fellini’s groundbreaking fantasies!
