Here are stills from a proposal for an upcoming short film project that deals with the underbelly of sexual encounters in the age of social media, Grindr, Scruff and Tinder. These stories are usually told or depicted through the eyes of those who took the initiative or in lay terms… sealed the deal.

In this instance, what you will see here are the behind the scenes from the other “eyes” of the encounter; the preparation, the anticipation, the seduction and the aftermath. The images are meant to evoke and provoke a dark and erotic side of meeting someone you have never met before and probably never encounter again. It is a black and white drama played out in the tradition of film noir as it might be in the 21st century world of “hook ups.
