Matthew
Williams’s vision for the Givenchy woman— “very elegant and powerful and chic”
…Apparently, he has joined the blah blah blah club with those who espouse one
thing and display quite another. Words have meaning and in the case of fashion,
the descriptors used to describe a collection, especially spoken by the
designer are supposed to match the end result. Well Mr. Williams there are 2
choices, you like the way the words sound or you have no clue whatsoever as to
what the words mean. maybe a dictionary is needed!

It’s a dense and rich aesthetic loved by the Kardashian-Jenner clan, who’ll surely be wearing this collection on their Instagram accounts in a matter of days.

Do you think he is referring to the croc envelopes worn as shrugs, the fly front leather briefs or perchance the non-fly front leather briefs? The clothes as a whole are unnecessary, an insult to the eponymous designer and a visual assault on the viewer. These are not cheap and cheery grad school project clothes but clothes that are expected to fill boutiques and sell for thousands of dollars to women who have the cash to throw away on them. BTW Kardashian …. Really?

Elegance……………ahhahhahahhahahahhaahahahah
Chic…………………. In your dreams Mr. Williams!

When you thought things couldn’t go from bad to worse you get this which is as close to ill-conceived and out there as it gets. The clothes are forgettable or laughable depending on your point of view. I prefer to once again ask the same tired questions… who is whispering in their ear and what’s the point of a heritage brand if there is not an iota of its DNA present in a collection!
I trust the so-called media will rave and rant but I wonder how it feels to attach your name to a review that has nothing to do with images!
