Here are some things we can be certain of after reviewing the images of the invitees to the once fabulous event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City:
Nana Anna did not make up the guest list as there is no way she knows who half of “her” guests are!
Nana Anna opened the flood gates for every wannabe and neverbe in the world of fashion, music and entertainment.
Apparently, Nana Anna’s European designer friends took a very healthy opportunity to show off rather than abide by the theme of the exhibit which I might remind you is supposed to be the History of American Fashion even though it focuses mainly in the second millennium and more specifically in the last 5 years. Her powers seem to be waning even though she keeps getting promoted at aged 70! And yet her influence seems to be waning!
Thank you, Nana Anna, for the embarrassment of billing this as the party of the year when it looks like your day care center was let loose in a design room for their first trip inside a museum.
Thank you, Nana Anna, for turning this event into a PRE- Halloween fiasco attended by photo op whores for the most part who will never be seen or heard from again instead of an event which only catered to top tier of this country’s social and financial strata.
