Certainly not the strongest or most riveting collection he has ever showed or even close to it ….. BUT ... what he has shown is a collection that s the purest definition of what prefall is theoretically all about. The season is not meant for revelations and over the top moments but instead prefall is all about wearable clothes that won’t age on a rack and that is exactly what Armani showed and just added a bit of pizazz to stir the desire to own some new clothes

The clothes are, for the most part very him yet there are a few questionable moments but all in all this is Giorgio Armani doing what he does best; his women are rich and slick and don t care much about gimmicks and flash other than an occasional odd skirt, new jacket, pant or perhaps a dress.

It is not a collection to oogle and google over, it is a collection for his clients who want to freshen up for what’s to come for the fall season when you can be sure there will be pieces to be coveted and that engender Armani at his best.
