Light as air with ateliers in high gear and at full throttle, Rami al Ali presented a concise collection that offers multiple appeal to multiple types of clientele. I was fortunate enough to get close ups of the intricacies that are employed in his work. I might even say to a great degree these are fairy rale/ethereal dresses, ultra-feminine and some might even qualify for dinner clothes.... with a bib of course!
These are the clothes of couture ... workmanship, aspiration and nudging the envelope, not pushing it over the edge.... to me this is couture with his abbreviated collection I believe he makes a woman dream and fantasize what it might be like to wear clothes such as these.... couture is made of dreams and not always shock and awe.
