Yes
take it all apart and you have a collection that is cohesive, well thought out
and in many instances ageless and modern. When looking at a collection like this, you are quickly
reminded that designers have a vision for their customers but the sum of
their parts does not preclude the fact that there are some great wearable
pieces that can worn by just about any man who has the F gene… and …. well
maybe the S gene…. I speak of fashion and style

Great coats.
Great patterning (black board coats and jackets) , colorations. Some trickster
hipster styling but that does not take away from the singular components ...
great jackets great coats sweaters scarves.. it’s very monochromatic ... Easy
to assemble a look and hard to go wrong,
then of course there are some tricky layering and some crushed velvet and rock
n roll looks for the Mick Jaggers among us.

Given the
prevailing costume party that seems to be the recurring theme of menswear,
Varvatos is an oasis since he straddles the boring and the outrageous which
seem to be the only 2 extremes that most designers strive for these days, these
clothes are neither!
