Blah blah blah blah...
another orgasmic and trance inducing frenzied moment for those who blindly follow and feel
they are compelled to laud and applaud what passes for fashion in the new millennium!

Tracksuits, overalls,
peasant blouses, caftans/djellabas, lingerie looks and assorted “so what” make
up this collection of slightly more than mediocre design! Are the clothes
wearable? … YES! Are the clothes commercial? … YES! Do these clothes rank next
to a Van Noten or Armani? … NO WAY! This is contemporary sportswear line at “top
shelf prices!” ask yourself this ... is it fair to judge your child’s artwork
against that of Claude Monet or Caravaggio?

The colors are
appealing but when viewed by those who supposedly know they should be saying … oh it was a pretty collection and not
lauding it as the greatest thing since the invention of thread. How can any it
be taken seriously when the so called fashion director of a major chain does
not recognize harem pants and calls them... get ready... genie pantaloons! Can you
take that person seriously to be an authority on ANYTHING? I mean, really? Genie
pantaloons? This is why fashion reviews can’t be taken at face value as my dad
always said “consider the source!” and well, I do and thusly dismiss most
reviews as sheer vapid verbiage filling up space where a review should be. What
would reviewers speak about if they only speak of the clothes?

Part of what ails
fashion is a media that is more concerned with ad dollars and not concerned
enough about what might actually sell and that’s why clearance sales and
outlets are on the ascent year after year. It is like allowing your best friend
to leave the house looking like a clown but you tell them ”your’re perfect!”
well, she isn’t and this biz isn’t when no one calls a spade a spade and no one
looks back to look forward It is just infuriating.

Bottom line is
yes the collection is fine, Zara and H&M will have field day with it and so
what?
