There is so much to say and that there is some confusion as
to where and how to start so let’s just dive in here. One wonders how this
wunderkind knew that Mariuccia Mandelli would pass so soon before the
collection in which he puts the pussy back in knits as ode to her. There is
this hugely childlike quality than makes all of these get ups look mighty cartoonish
which somehow doesn’t ring right when you spend $1000s. So all you trendoid wannabe
fashion victims better hurry your asses over to the local thrift stores and get
a pair of oversized Elton John/Ziggy Stardust glitter glasses, a sunburst
pleated skirt, a stock tie blouse, a
baseball jacket and some 70s uber platform shoes and presto you’re “IN” OR YOU
ARE WELL PREPARED FOR HALLOWEEN !

Handbags that look like grade school projects, overly and
overtly referenced clothes that work in reverse of their intention so that the
collection looks so tired, so been there done that and well so overthought and in
so doing it is another trying way too hard to be hip collection. To his credit,
maybe, this is a 4 season collection that looks to span every climate but it’s
just too bad it relies so heavily on deliberate styling, sew on patches and just
plain pedestrian design. It’s too bad that the Bizzarri believes that this is a
new era of design when in fact all this genius has done is turn back time. The
curb is closer than you think!
