As is the wont of madame meatball, once again we are treated to some delusional interpretation of Maison Christian Dior meaning we are long on blah blah blah and very short on design and the DNA of the house.

Couture has and I guess will always be a sort of fantasy or aspiration for so many but there isn’t much to lust for and covet here as the clothes are ...well, just generic clothes... flowy gowns, oh we did add toreador pants, but for the most part they are wildly expensive bland clothes that can bear any label.

Do you suppose that this so-called designer has the inside line on the pandemic and yes, I know that couture is not about real life or for that matter reality but honestly what is there in this collection that one lusts and covets other than the workmanship?

Aside from the lack of design... what looks fresh and new, what warrants 5 figure price tags and saddest of all is what warrants or deserves the honor of carrying the Dior label?
