Dior fall 2020

Welcome to Macy’s 5th floor sportswear!!! What you are seeing here is just beyond one’s wildest dreams of how Dior can be represented. An endless parade of some version of college girl Ellen Tracy, Villager and John Meyer with neon signs and all ... someone needs to explain to me what those signs mean … we are all clitordian women, women strike and the world stops, consent, women raise the uprising and of course consent!

So, on one hand the meatball makes them plaid attired college girls from the 60s and 70s with Ali McGraw Love Story head wraps and on the other hand, she objectifies them with bra bearing tops, sheer skirts, shimmy fringe and granny panties… wtf is the story here? I’m so sure there is some bizarre claptrap that she has grasped onto to justify if that’s even possible, this endlessly generic collection of nothingness. Take note the models are as joyful as the clothes!

Whatever Dior once was it is no longer with combat boots, shearling lined boots, fishnets stockings and head wraps and not to mention… now don’t get your panties inn a twist ... but some very mannish, okay dykish,  looking women dressed for an evening at the bar ... if you catch my drift.

The so called me-too moment will never be over as that has become part of this world’s history and culture but hell, she has beaten this horse to death and she still hasn’t actually convinced anyone that the clothes and the rhetoric coincide.

It is truly horrifying to see this heritage brand tumble beneath such a low bar of design that this woman has imposed in quest of her being thought of as the 21st century’s greatest feminist next to Betty Friedan and Gloria Steinem. This is an epic fail and more than just a smudge on the reputation of Dior.

  1. Her ugliest collection yet . I wore Villager 50 years ago . It was nice this isn’t
