To recall that this brand was once a brand geared to ladies
of a certain age is almost inconceivable. Akris for Spring 2017 may be a tad boring,
tricked out and not what you might expect of the its current incarnation and current
designer but what you are assured of is exquisite quality, superb fabrication
and laser sharps edges and finishes.

Case in point the leather pieces and the
guipure like lace; Love it? .. Not by a long
stretch.. BUT if a women wants perfection, doesn’t want to really ponder her choices
and money is no object, then here we go ladies pile onto the Akris Alps gondola.

The nod to the slit jeans trend is a bit beneath the usual design standards
as well the skin tight pants ala leggings. Maybe it is better to be a bit
boring and sell than to be over trended and over hyped and multiply on the
rails/racks!
