So let’s see... as far as I can remember I wore double and triple wrap belts in the early to mid 70s, albeit on the waist band of my pants and not above, then of course I also tucked my blazers or suit jackets into my pants and Gaultier was already doing wrap blazers. Then again I was also 5’10 and weighed in at about 130 pounds and wore boots with a good sized heel… you do the math. And here we are again some forty years later being preached to by the high priestess of intellectual fashion who has so assiduously, laughably and clairvoyantly added sweaters that look itchier than a bed of ants and trapper hats with floppy colored fur cocker spaniel ears to all that … are you just too excited for words??

WTF is she drinking with all of that, add high water pants and higher waisted trousers …. Can you dig it? It is over and over again clothes that need the blah blah blah to explain why they are so purposefully unattractive in so many ways and if not unattractive then yawn inducing in their lack of originality. Oh but it’s Prada the bought and paid for media minions will decry while the fashion victims will be descending on their local thrift store for old trapper hats and yards of fake fur to slap onto sweaters and hats… on and in blinding colors just in case they are not visually offensive enough and lest us forget the influencers who will be waiting to see what is bestowed upon them to hawk on their Instagram accounts.

Let’s not overlook the leathers which look as stiff as cardboard and oafish shoes and all the cargo pockets and nylon flight jackets we all bought from International Male but now they have 10 pockets and multiple zips and are also tucked into your pants to give you that top heavy superhero look that so many of us are all just panting for? Then there are the military uniform jackets … again which im sure some of us still have from our own fashion history.
