On the former my eyes tell me to
disagree and the latter one might say, well, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Then there
is the matter of this being the 10 year anniversary of the eponymous brand
which translates to the umpteenth season
of cargo pants, clumsy shoes, daisy dukes, neoprene, tee shirts, crop tops, the
new ubiquitous “delicate fruit
casement” and most of all being mistaken
as an influential collection designed by
a great talent…. NOT!
These are plain old street kids clothes…
the kids do it better .. which are redone for high prices aimed at those who
feel the need to believe they are uber hot
wearing the latest and greatest. Better to think again! There’s hardly
an original thought to be seen. Even the style of the presentation itself was
done recently by Dior Homme in Paris. Yes, some of us pay attention!
