Jeeez Louise! Why fix what’s not broken? Armani is the king
for a reason. He offers up every variation of a jacket whether abbreviated,
shrunken, loose, fitted, precise, rumpled and all of it shown on a variety of
MEN not nubile sexless young things and
the Armani man has attitude... and lots of it!!

Yes of course the fawners will be oh so old oh who cares ...
face up and see what’s in front of you. .. The man does very little wrong EVER
and he doesn’t prattle on about bullshit inspirations and provocations. Giorgio
Armani delivers clothes to be worn and loved season after season. This season,
in a rare break from his usual MO he introduced some prints which sometimes
worked better than others but surely nothing offensive. Pleated pants have
returned in a big way with bucket hats and once again that Italian thing they
call Sprezzatura!

Bottom line is if you think Prada is fierce and Gucci is
groundbreaking, then just move on and wait for the markdowns. Here is what
fashion is all about ….. And it supersedes the collections that garner the
majority of press attention because it pays homage to the art and craft of fashion
and not clown clothes derived from thrift stores.

PS.. take note .. no over the top styling as there is nothing
to hide here or compensate for and he didn’t have to have 60 men, he actually
had his models change like the glory days of fashion BUT how can you not love the tee with his
photo on it!!
